The Food Safety Department of the World Health Organization will present a food safety training manual based on the Five Keys to Safer Food. The purpose of this manual is to facilitate implementation of the WHO Five Keys messages at country level to different relevant audiences such as: school children, ordinary consumers, street food vendors, small food businesses etc.

The WHO Five Keys to Safer Food are simple rules elaborated to promote safer food handling and preparation practices: - Keep clean, - Separate Raw and Cooked, - Cook thoroughly, - Keep food at safe temperatures, - Use safe water and raw materials.
