International Symposium "In Search of Better and Effective Food Safety System: Thailand Towards Kitchen of the World"

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), will convene a one-day international symposium on 15 October 2004 in Bangkok back-to-back with the 2nd Global Forum of Food Safety Regulators (GF-2) in Bangkok (12-14 October 2004). The entitled: "In Search of Better and Effective Food Safety System: Thailand Towards Kitchen of the World", aims to utilize the outcomes from GF-2 as a thought starter and a stimulator of improvement in food safety systems, taking Thailand as an example, by conveying and discussing the outcomes of GF-2 among participants from GF-2 who apply for participation as well as any other food sectors, Thai and international, involved in food safety and those who need further research direction for the next steps. The Symposium will consist of about 300 participants from three categories and will be held at Siam City Hotel, Bangkok. There is NO REGISTRATION FEE and participants should see further information and apply under stated conditions. REGISTRATION DEADLINE is 1 September 2004.
